I agree with the prizes quoted by Pres. Mauro.  However, I suggest that we add consolation prizes up to 20.  The prizes need not be money. It could be gift items for the house or personal items.  As suggested by Ex Pres. Tino, we can ask our officers  or members as donors.

It's OK to give more consolation prizes. Also I want to remind the official receipt of SDN. I move to distribute one booklet of official recept to every regional vice presidents and board of directors, but the treasurer said that no more receipt. So we need to print some more. Thanks. My suggestion on the consolation prizes will also a raffle like the previous party.We'll  raffle them for $1.00 and give  50/50 of the sales.we will award gifts from the dinner tickets so the guests will hold their stubs,so we can award gifts in between dances till the end of the party.we can solicit  nice gifts.Pres.Mauro,the template for the tickets look good ,please mail them to us asap.Nellie has a lot of  receipts so you can email her if you it.Edith

Edith I don't know the particulars of our fundraising. I'd like to make a flyer if you can give me the particulars. i.e., time of pick up, etc..  Did you tell the coordinator that we will stay for 5 hours?

Manang Belen i spoke to Araceli at pacenga casino coz Marlene Perlas is on vacation for i week.everything

wil be finalize when she comes back.She will send the packet for us to sign plus our check for $500 which is refundable,like last  fundraising.the date is march 24,saturday,pick up time is 930am ,to return is 5pm.I told her pick up is at Loretto  Church parking lot,so please have manang Dida to ask permission again.our contacts will be us again.As for the flyer i'll have Jonathan my grandson do it and i'll send you an attachment .are we requesting for the 60 passenger bus like before?

Manang Belen do you want to go to Vegas this weekend  for the signing of the contract  so we can all writedown our specifications?Sorry somebody has to do the driving  coz of my shoulder or i'll  see if my friend wants to come and i'll let her drive,.call you  in am.maybe we can go and see manang Tasing Panajon

 and get also her input.I'M planning to have her son MARIO from hawaii to be ou emcee,he is really good and lively.

Edith, ask for the regular bus capacity.  Anyway we can ask for a bigger one  day before we leave.  It's better to ask for a smaller one so we won't be  pressured  filling it up. A  day before we can more or less estimate if we have more than 54.

Edith, back to the raffle ticket.  We are discussing about the consolation prizes, for the $2 raffle ticket.  What amount shall we put on the consolation prize?  I think what you are referring to is the on the spot raffle, which we sell during the party.  Isn't it?

Manang Belen,its also okey to award $100 consolation prizes up to ten people  if we can sell enough tickets

to cover this prizes and if its also ok by the officers.i'm trying to solicit from friends to donate  a 20 inches

flat  screen tv for the grand prize which will raffled from the dinner stubs at the end of the party to encourage people to stay .Okey i'll request for a smaller bus about 54 seats.I spoke to manang Elvy this morning and she said that she will just give the deposit to hold theplace  and we'll have the signing of the contract next week,we should go to vegas before the feb11th coz thats the time they are going home to calif.preferrably

wednesday to friday.Edith
